kittens are a joy to watch, but let alone their curiosity can get them into trouble.

Before you let your new kitten has a view of the house there are safety precautions that should be taken

* Make sure there is no access to hot surfaces you can use a firewall to keep them away from fire
* Close the windows and check if they are slightly open they can not be pushed, the kittens will try to get into even the smallest gaps
* Block access behind furniture, washers, dryers and refrigerators
* Remove any plants that may be harmful if eaten
* Make sure all household caustics are locked

Once you have your new kitten:

* Make sure they do not go in the closets or drawers - they can easily get trapped in
* If your kitten play with string, ribbon or wire make sure it is only when you are there to supervise, they can get wrapped around their body or neck, they could also try eating son and choke or suffocate
* Keep your kitten in the kitchen when the stove is hot - better train them to stay out of the kitchen surfaces
* Do not let them play with plastic bags
* Do not open or close a recliner unless you are sure the kitten is not below
* Throw away broken toys or all those pieces they could choke
* Discard all food not consumed it can go pretty quickly especially in hot weather, and it attracts flies
* Never use medicines for human use on kittens or cats - always consult a veterinarian
* Watch Your Step - kittens are fast, they can easily be trampled
* Sit down carefully - make sure you do not sit on the kitten

If you want to keep you and your home safe for your kitten

* You may want to hang curtains old kittens do not like to ride, you must know that some cats never get over this
* You can be assured that the kitten will try moving up all surfaces of your home - Remove all valuable ornaments or photos before they can be overturned and damaged
* Do not leave piles of clothes or bags on the floor - it may consider this as a potential toilet
* Watch your step - the kittens you can easily unseat
* Most kittens are usually ready to toilet train, but be aware that there may be puddles Slippy

Try not to be too frightened by all the possible dangers, just enjoy - they are not kittens long, although some cats are cat throughout their lives.
